Portraits Sessions

I am now holding portrait sessions either at my home studio or with my portable studio at a location of your choice.

Portrait sessions are tailored for each client as we try to cater for any specific requirements. We can discuss these prior to the shoot to maximise shooting time. Some time will be spent on test shots to set the lighting, but this will be kept to a minimum as the studio will be prepared before your arrival.

After the session we will briefly go through all of the photographs to make an initial selection.

This selection will then be worked on for colour correction and cropping, then will be uploaded to our web site within a week and will remain there for 30 days whilst you make your final selection. See a small sample of some portraits taken recently.

Make Up

I would suggest that, to save time, you arrive with any make up already applied. If you require a makeup assistant or hair dresser this can be arranged and will be subject to extra costs dependant upon circumstances.

What to wear

Accessories and clothing can make a big difference to a portrait, so choose carefully! It is recommended that you bring a selection of outfits, being careful to ensure that the outfits fit and are “your” colour. Bear in mind that too many changes will eat into the shooting time. It is also a good idea to bring accessories such as hats, scarves, jewellery and toys for children. You may have other items that you want incorporated in to your portrait such as a special teddy bear or suchlike. Preparation precedes perfection.

Costs

We adopt a unique approach to costs. Please look at our costing page for details.
